Father/Son Retreat – By Anson

My favoritist thing was when I went fishing.

I went in the pumpkin and it was smelly and cold. I would not like to stay there.

They made cheeseburgers, my favorite!

I liked it when Mr.. Warren used imaginary maps about God’s children in the wilderness.

I liked when I got to try coke and pepsi in the car.

He nailed the feeling of the Pumpkin! Good thing he's not a girl, or he would have to stay there for sure his first year of camp!

Why has nothing ever been done about the Pumpkin?
I may be jinxing myself but after all my man years camping & staffing at SBL I have somehow missed the privilege of 7 Dwarfs AND the Pumpkin. In fact, I've only ever been in the Barn, Dining Hall, Lake Sides, Kingscourt or once the Dream House. Seriously, THOSE are the ONLY cabins I've ever lived in, even after all my years of service! Am I lucky of what?!

ANSON! Cute! Sounds like he had a good weekend of "GUY TIME". What a special memory for him to have. Relationships with Fathers these days are so INCREDIBLY important. As the world turns more corrupt we need Godly Dads even more!

This is so cute!! And Tandis count your blessings!! The last time I stayed in that cabin we took everyones clothes to the dryer in the morning on the way to counselors meeting and then our campers would get them when they got up! So humid, Icky!! Anyway, sounds like it was a great weekend, and lots of Man-time! :)
