Ava’s Turn (vaca part 4)

I’m pretty sure I got spoiled the most on vacation. Paige and I share something special with the cabin in Wisconsin. Thats where we both took off walking! I wasn’t hardly walking when we got there, but boy was I cruising by the time we left.

I ate

 

and drank

 

and ate some more.

  All I have to say about the animal park is the goats were a little obnoxious. I really liked the birds and bunnies though.

 

I always wore this purse around my neck. Everyone thought it was so cute and funny.

And I LOVED the water! I would have been in all day if mom would have let me. The last picture was our last night there right before bed. Mom thought the water was a little cold, but I loved it when she dunked her legs and made me go under the water up to my neck.

Paige’s Perspective (vaca part 3)

Mom took a little break from writing. She had to take Anson to Bemidji to get his cast off!! He was so excited. But, this about me, not Anson. I had soooo much fun on our trip. I would have to say that I wasn’t a huge fan of the wildlife park which my mom found surprising since I seem to like animals so much. Maybe everything was just a little overwhelming for me. I like everything that was behind bars!

Anson and I spent hours on this tube! Mom and dad are amazed we didn’t end up with another broken arm or something.

Anita is a friend that lives with my Grandpa and Grandma. She was always playing games with us and reading to us. My mom and dad said she must have lots of patience because we bugged her a lot. We got to see Auntie Sena too. We had so much fun playing games  and going swimming with her. She brought me a little blender so I had lots of fun making all kinds of smoothies. The lake was magic, I could make any kind of fruit smoothie, coffee, milkshake…all from the same water!

According to Anson (vacation part 2)

Mom asked me what my favorite part of our trip was and I told her I didn’t know because there was a lot of favorite things. I do have 2 things I had lots of fun doing though. Wait…i remembered my FAVORITIST!!! I will tell you about that first.

Auntie Sena brought a game called Snorta. It was the funnest kids game I have ever played. Maybe it was because I won twice. You should check it out though if you have kids, they would love it.

I got to feed deer at an animal park we visited. That was a lot of fun too! One of my favorite things though was jumping on a big tube that was for pulling behind a boat. Since we didn’t have a boat at the lake we just put it on the grass and played there. One time my dad tied it up to the dock and Paige and I used it for a boat.

The trip was lots of fun but my mom forgot to take very many pictures. Of me anyway…I think there are a lot of Ava so you’ll have to check back for her post.

VACATION!!! (part 1)

We are back from a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the cabin with Jerem’s family. Correction. We are not back YET..I am just getting a head start as we drive home. Oh yeah, and I think relaxing weekend is an oxymoron with 3 kids in tow.

We decided to pack up and surprise Grandpa and Grandma by arriving a day early. 3 hrs into our trip we received this picture and txt from Grandpa Denis.

“Didn’t realize how tired we were. Having tues and wed will make us ready to welcome you all on wed afternoon.” Oops…SUPRISE!!! They were happy about it though and all notions of resting up for two days were quickly forgotten. I’ll tell you about the rest of our trip through our childrens’ eyes.

What We Love About Summer

Going up to the lake to cool off at 5 pm…because we can!

Baking pizza on the grill cause its too hot to turn on the oven.

Veggies fresh from our garden for supper, and to can for winter.

(yes jill, i’m using vinegar in the canner and love it!)
